MyCare Ohio (sometimes referenced as 'Next Generation MyCare') is Ohio's managed care program for people who qualify for both Medicare and Medicaid, coordinating medical care, behavioral health and long-term services and supports through one managed care plan.

For a dual-eligible senior, MyCare Ohio is meant to reduce the coordination burden of managing separate Medicare and Medicaid systems -- one plan handles medical coverage, prescriptions, behavioral health, and home- and community-based long-term services together. The Council on Aging of Southwestern Ohio provides local care management support for MyCare Ohio enrollees in our four-county coverage area.
